About Huntingdon Valley Hunt
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.
The Huntingdon Valley Hunt Pony Club is a 50 year old + club of the USPC. HVHPC is a local club within the Eastern PA region with members mainly from Bucks County. The United States Pony Club develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care and of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports. The HVHPC members range in age from 11 through 18 and are active in show jumping, dressage, quiz, eventing, games and polo cross.
Eighty percent of our members attended USPC National Championships in 2016 at Tryon, NC. Our present and past members have participated in International Exchanges, NAYRC and Dressage4Kids competitions. As a club we offer Unmounted meetings as well as monthly Mounted meetings to help members develop skills needed to meet the certification standards of USPC. Please feel free to contact us and get to know us at one of our monthly meetings, the third Friday of every month.
FAQs About Joining Pony Club
USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers are assigned to one of 41 geographical regions, which are administered by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and other appointed and elected officers. Regions offer additional activities and opportunities for members and support for the club and center leaders under their administration.
